Dr Andrea Mazzucco
After graduating from Helsinki and after two years studying mathematics, physics and chemistry at the University of Helsinki, she enrolled at the Helsinki Institute of Nursing where she graduated as a nurse: specialization degree in surgical care and finally the diploma of stomatherapist.
At the Helsinki University Hospital she created the Stomatherapy Unit and gave trainings to the staff. She was responsible for structuring and running the intensive care unit related to the surgery department (gastroenterology). Still in the same hospital, working as a specialist nurse, she was awarded for her excellent work and positive attitude towards her colleagues and patients.
In 1987 she was transferred to Switzerland to work in the surgery department of the Bellinzona GSO and then to Ars Medica Clinic in Lugano. Her diplomas have been recognized by the Red Cross.
Then, she took care of the construction and operation of the pediatric practice in Neuchâtel, focusing on the quality of the services offered to parents and on the training of the people who have worked there since the opening in 1996. She also dedicated her time with the education of their son Jonathan, born in 1992.
